- You start by heading on over to my calendar to schedule a free, no-obligation consultation just to make sure you have a chance to ask me all your questions before you commit.
- Next, if you decide to work with me, you'll decide which page you want to collaborate on. You can choose from home page, about page, services page, or sales page. Or, you can choose all 4.
- To get started, I’ll send you:
- a worksheet and some questions to help you organize your ideas and to help me learn about your business.
- a template that gives you the exact steps for writing your copy.
- a copywriting style guide with some tricks of the trade that will help you make sure your copy really sparkles.
- Then we'll set your due-date on my calendar and you'll get to work!
- When you're due-date rolls around, you'll send your writing to me for editing. I guarantee to get it back to you within 5 business days. (If we're doing all 4, you'll send them back in a bundle, and turnaround time will be 10 business days).

Who do you work with?
I work with purpose-driven creatives doing heritage, culture, or food-focused: chefs and caterers, nutritionists and health coaches, restaurateurs, writers, educators, activists, artists, musicians, and more. Some of my clients are small startups and solo-entrepreneurs who have recently gotten started and need some help determining their direction, while some are seasoned business owners who feel unhappy, unfocused, or frustrated with their current brand or business trajectory and want to make a pivot or undertake a rebrand.
If I'm doing this myself, why isn't it cheaper?
This isn't a done-for-you service. It's a support-system, an education, and the kick-in-the-pants and accountability you need to get going and get to work.
I've put a lot of thought into developing this service with templates and knowledge you'll be able to use over and over. Not only will you have copy to get started with, but you'll be learning how to write copy for sales pages, emails, social media, blogs, etc. from here on in.
My goal is not only to get you started with copy that clearly communicates what you do but to equip you with the tools you'll need to run your business over the long haul. That way, you won't have to depend on copywriters to help you communicate in the future.
What about my web design and visual brand. Isn't that important too?
It is important, but the most beautiful website in the world won't get you more clients if people can't understand what you do. The story you tell about your business and the words you use to connect with your target client are (sorry web designers) more important.
What if I change things about my business or brand and all the work I do with you no longer applies?
Good news. Even if you do find you need to change your brand, you'll be equipped to do so. You'll have the templates and cheatsheets we used together, so you can use them again and again throughout your life as a business-owner.
